Deadlines are a very critical in the media business. Part of learning to write for the media is learning to meet deadlines.
Here is the tenitive schedule for the course, and deadline dates:
Story #1: Due Tuesday, Sept. 6 (500 word minimum)
Story #2: Due Tuesday, Sept. 21 (500 word minimum)
Story #3: Due Tuesday, Oct. 5 (500 word minimum)
Story #4: Due Tuesday, Oct. 19 (700 word minimum)
Story #5: Due Tuesday, Nov. 2 (700 word minimum)
Story #6: Due Tuesday, Nov. 16 (700 word minimum)
Story #7: Due Tuesday, Nov. 30 (800 word minimum)
Story #8: Due Tuesday, Dec. 7-15 (800 word minimum)
Also, a reminder for those of you who might have not written down what story number you chose in class today, here is a list:
